Here, you can enjoy yourself at the introduction to an overview of "Shukuba", a post town, the history of Kiso, and the progress leading to its preservation.
In this historical museum, exhibited are the historical materials covering all the periods ranging from those of primitive, ancient, middle, modern and recent times, so that you can enjoy yourself at learning not only the history of South Kiso, but also that of the whole Kiso through many models and visuals. Also, provided are the corners where explanations are given on how the Tsumago post town was realized, and the progress leading to its preservation.
